Laser treatment of periodontal disease is a modern method by which, with the help of high energy laser (Nd-Yag), is achieved an effective cleaning of the primary inflamed tissue of the gum. The laser affects anaerobic bacteria in the pocket and removes them.

Microbiological Test
The periodontal disease is caused by five groups of pathogens. They are gram-negative anaerobes and can be tested and visualized with an accurate DNA test. Sampling is performed by placing a sterile paper pin in the area of the pockets. It is then sent to a specialized laboratory in Germany, and the results arrive within 3-5 days via e-mail.
